TPMS wiring
I just bought a new tpms & the dirictions for the monitor are to have one wire(red) connect to a constant 12 volt & a white wire to iginition & black to gnd. it works fine with red & white to ignition...

My tpms (TST 507RV) just plugs into a 12v outlet. And that is to charge the tpms battery. It will operate for hours unplugged. I usually leave it plugged in while traveling but leave it unplugged when not using it and it does not lose it settings, even after extended times unplugged.
