Ah. Good to know. When we had the last RV, I was having problems with the battery on the gen set, so the electric start didn't get used a lot, much less the wireless start. I was kinda looking forward to using that now... *especially* if it automagically takes care of start on, then power on, etc.
3100 will power the A/C, but it doesn't a have enough surge to start the A/C compressor
There's a whole bunch of people doing *exactly* this with either a Champion 3100, or two Honda 2000's in parallel.
which can be as much as 50 amps, when you already using 1/3 of its capacity before you even turn the a/c on.

you did not give the batteries any charge time, to reduce load, first.
Agreed... I just didn't think that it was normal to have *quite* so much 'house' load to where I have to shut other things down to run the A/C. Not running the A/C and the microwave (two big loads) at the same time, sure. Didn't figure the converter to be one of those... now I know.
