Trailer Emergency Brake Cable Broke
Well not really broke, was apparently dragging on the ground. Suggestions for repair? I was thinking cable clamps, creating loops of the two ends.

Cable is a common hardware store item. Ues. I'd go with thimbles (optional) and cable clamps... I would not SPLICE that cable I'd replace it with one cut the proper length.
