Trailer Emergency Brake Cable Broke
Well not really broke, was apparently dragging on the ground. Suggestions for repair? I was thinking cable clamps, creating loops of the two ends.

You could get a small electrical split bolt to shorten cable. Double cable back leaving appropriate slack. Secure loop with split bolt.
