Trailer Wiring Question
I noticed a white wire came loose near the trailer hitch and pigtail connection box. Is this a ground wire? And where does it connect to?

Suggest you plug the trailer 7-pin into the truck and turn on the truck. Now see if everything in the trailer that is supposed to work from the 7-pin works or not. If all or some things don't work, then try it with that loose white wire touching the king pin.
