Transfer Switch
What is the cheapest, most compact, simplest transfer switch I can buy? It only has to switch 120V, 15 amps max.

Easy to use FULL 30 AMP RATED. Use fully insulated YELLOW 12-10 Fast-On type connector terminals. if need squeeze terminal before slipping onto tang to insure a TIGHT slip-on joint.
But that's only 3A rated on the NC contacts.- Is a double pole switch necessary?
My current switch is, so both hot and neutral are switched.
But have wondered whether neutral couldn't just be passed thru, like ground currently is. - My choice :)

For manual 15A 120v transfer switch you can use a regular household 3-way switch. They cost less than $2 plus a 25 cent box to put it in.
I'd upgrade to a commercial grade switch though, it will still be less than $5. - You can get just a toggle switch 120v 15a rated but it needs a box too.

Haven't looked at anything smaller. - I'm using this one, seems to work fine. Not sure it's the absolute cheapest.
