I expect the problems start at the end of a reasonably undersized feeder to the coach DC breaker panel..?

Since every is (usually) distributed through the panel, I wonder what hanging one of those 2+ Farad caps that they sell to stiffen the DC feeder to these 2000watt lowrider getto stereo systems would do? It's a spike suppressor in itself.
