Are you saying the flat connctor which is the neutral vs the round ground is damaged?
That pin like the 2 hots can carry up to 50A. Heat damage comes from poor connections or corrosion in either the male or female plugs or wires. What does your male plug look like? Time to replace?
Do not use either plug until they are replaced as a open 50A neutral can cause significant damage to the rig due to very high voltage.
I'd call and see if the unit can be repaired.
Note: IF the pedestal hots are both connected to the same transformer hot then not only is the pedestal miswired but it's now possible for the neutral to carry up to 100A which is way over the rating. If there is 0V across the hots vs 240V then it's miswired and in violation of the electrical code.
