Also check the reverse polarity fuses on the converter or the fuse panel (wherever they are)
The breaker to the receptacle the WFCO is plugged into might be good but the receptacle might be dead from being on a GFCI circuit that could have been affected by your zapping generator.
You can unplug the WFCO and run an extension cord from the house to power it and see if it has any DC output with a voltmeter.
