Check converter output with generator or park power running: disconnect Pos cable from the battery and check the voltage btw the cable and the Neg cable. Does it read 13-something volts? Anything at all?
And - yes, replace WFCO with PD converter at your earliest convenience. WFCO never charge battery well, even when they work.
