Let's go back for more information from the OP. Looks like this in an inverter/CHARGER, though I have never seen a Xantrex 2000 with only a 55 amp charger. SO, FIRST QUESTION IS EXACTLY WHAT MODEL DO YOU HAVE? This will tell us several things, including whether it has a built-in transfer switch.
And, as most of us have asked how is 120 VAC wired on the IN side of the inverter/charger. And on the OUT SIDE?
Was this added by the dealer who could not figure it out in 4 months???
