@rjxj-No mods with screws into anything but solid wood but I will check more carefully.
@westend-The power center/fuse panel is in its own compartment. I'll poke around some of the larger components and see what I can see without disturbing any looms. There is a harness that exits the van and enters one of the rear cargo doors (it's a van) that looks a little squashed.
@smkettner-All lights are on one fuse but there are lots of switches, at least 6, including two on the rear cargo door supplied by that squished wiring harness.
I'll look later this morning when the temps rise a little. It's cold out there.
A little history. We were traveling and stopped to make coffee at a rest stop. All lights and panel were working normally. We started up again and soon were driving in steady rain. We arrived, parked outside my bro's house (heavily wooded area) and visited, spending the night inside the house.
That night I noticed the interior lights were not working when I went out to the van to get something and I checked the battery using the monitor panel which worked at the time indicating a fully charged battery. After the sun came up I put a new fuse in which immediately popped and a few seconds later the fuse for the monitor panel blew. Spent a few days visiting and drove home. All other 12v items work. That's where we are now.
EDIT: I was hoping that there was some way to test if my dicking around and shaking wires was fruitful without sacrificing a fuse every time. They're not cheap.
