Type of cables to use for connecting 6v batteries?

Hi, I just picked up four 6 volt batteries that I'm going to connect in series/parallel. I need to pick up some cables to connect them with and I'm curious about what type to get. I also will need to ...

Steel on 6-6v batt series interconnects was no problem for me. It's not like they were carrying hundreds of amps.

But I realize all new things must be subject to flak.
