As long as there’s people more than happy to shell out an *EXTRA* $100k for a diesel they’re going to drive maybe 5,000 miles a year the price of gas will be meaningless.
Especially when you consider the price of gasoline in other countries.
I have family in Europe, regular is the equivalent of ~$5.80 / gallon.
