Sorry, BFL, fridge is a compressor driven unit. No LP for it. Fridge doesn't normally cause the surging problem either. The only thing the fridge does is cause the genny to run really hard for a moment when it starts up. Other than that, the genny purrs along at around 50%, give or take.
I've been told a 9280 is either the max for a Honda eu2000i, or is more than the genny can handle. However, that is NOT the case. The eu2000i can handle the PD9280, fridge, and a few other small loads, and still have capacity left over (not that I'd put any more on at that point). And this is with the 9280 pumping out its full 80Amps, too.
