The only way to get to the two fans that all 1200's have is to slide the unit onto a platform on the inside. There is not a separate fuse for the fans and the Tstat is located near the fans so you cannot get to it either without pulling the unit into the MH. Put a fan in the opening and see if this helps as it cannot hurt anything.
