Well the fridge is working, almost too well!

With daytime ambient temps in the high 20s to low 30s C (low 80s F) and overnight temps teens to low 20s C (high 60s F) the in fridge air temperature remains around 2C (5 - 6F). Set temp is at 1. When it was set higher we would wake up in the morning with the fridge temperature several degrees below freezing.

Is this due to the fact that the fans are running 24/7 AND there are no vent covers?
