Remember ALL PG motors are not the same even if they look alike. You need to get the same exact motor that will have the same Torque and Horsepower. Failure to do that will result in a motor that cannot do the job. Over the years I have replaced motors other shops installed on Fleetwood PG slides because they just installed any PG type motor and the motors were not powerful enough to do the job. Especially if you have a level floor slide out. The wrong motor will extend just fine, but does not have the power to bring the slide up that first 6 to 8 inches. Odds are you have a 4 wire motor. 2 wires are the heavy dc in and out pos and neg wires and the other 2 are the 22 gauge electric brake wires. The bad news is- since the original motor is gone(which has the info needed for a correct match), you may need to contac Fleetwood and Powergear and see if the replacement motors they recommend are the same part.
