Thanks Doug; I was hoping you would check in. Your input is so appreciated.
In this case, since the motor is gone, I think paying extra for the Fleetwood factory replacement is worth the extra change so that (I assume) I am getting the correct motor. It bothers me a bit that the part number I got from FW crosses to so many other motors on Ebay.
What concerns me is that when the motor fell off, did it take part of a harness off with it and what is involved in replacing it.
Have you ever seen where a gear case cracked and failed and the motor fell off?
I am also freaking out that that big hunk off metal damaged a tire or toad or someone else. If so; sorry.
