Thanks all for suggestions. It looks like it won't be too difficult to remove except for the weight. Heaven knows what I am going to put it on to look at. There is not Picnic table at the site; they are rare if not non existant in Mexico. The folding tables we carry with art light duty ones, in fact one collapsed a few days ago under the weight of a 20 litre water jug!
I'm not going to take it out until I find a place that may be able to service it. We are an hour and a half from Lazero Cardedas, 4 hours from Uruapan, 4-5 hours from Acapulco and the same from Morelia.
Might have to wait until we get to Puerto Vallarta or Mazatlan in a couple of months.
