Updated - Please read 1st post: Some basic sewer questions
Update:
THESE QUESTIONS ARE NOT ABOUT AN RV.
Well, it is not an rv YET, anyway ;). It is a cargo van I am building into an rv. Right now it has no tanks, and no plumbing at all.
I have experience putting in s&b plumbing, but am not familiar with rv systems and don't have an rv to look at.
Responses that tell me to 'look at my tanks' or 'post pictures' are well intentioned but not relevant to the topic.
If anybody reading this can post a picture of the sewer outlet, with hose NOT attached, on your own rv, that would be so helpful!

So it looks like I may be staying the winter in a park without a public bathhouse. I'll need to put in a standard sewer hookup. But iI have never seen one up close!
Google and youtube were not much help. Would one of you kindly walk me through the basics?
= Does the bayonet end of the hose connect to the rv, and is the other end threaded to screw onto the sewer outlet in the same threads as its lid?
= Do all rigs have the bayonet fitting, or does that vary?
= I am thinking I will use the hookup for grey water only, and remove the hose to dump my portapotty, that way I will not have to have tanks. So I would just plumb in sink and shower drain lines, shutoff valve, and whatever the sewer hose hooks onto.
Does this sound OK?
= If the hose does screw onto the ground hookup, is there a quick release version that could be less hassle for ports potty access?
Thanks much for any advice!
