Upgrade water pump wiring?
Has anyone measured the voltage at their water pump while it's operating? I'm seeing ~6 amp load and about 10 volts with the pump running wide open (multiple taps opened.) Battery voltage is at ...

I seems to vary, there must be some other load on the circuit that's not static. Right now, it is 12.7. Earlier it was 13.2.
I'll check it more closely next chance I get. The clampmeter reads 6 amps, so the pump is running at ~60 watts, I expect the motor will get warm.
Regarding the other suggestion:
The pressure switch does not feel warm... if it were dropping 3 volts, at 6 amps that's 18 watts, it would be HOT. Haven't gotten a volt meter on it yet.
