You may have a good set-up there so the PD does what the other Brands do for constant amps. On the forum in the past, we have been looking for anybody who gets that, to disprove the "usual story" that PDs taper.
Please record some more and give a good description of your set up.
The guy who modified his PD9280 so it would not taper as usual, got muddled a bit as to whether his PD tapered at full 120v input or did lower amps just from having a lower 120v input (PDs are very sensitive to that) or if it was all the "usual" PD thing.
If you are using an inverter gen like a Honda that does 123v for the PD as input, then that should be reported too. 117a input and lower amps would be part of the "whole story" Same with those MSW Onan gens that PDs don't like much.
