upgrading power converter
My power converter has apparently bit the dust, lights flickering for past couple of years now no charge to batteries... Anyhoo, we do a lot of dry camping, where we need to daily boost the batteries...

Fisherguy would need shorter fatter wire to get better results with an 80amper He was on a 245AH bank.
To avoid confusion, we should call the time from when tapering started, the end of the bulk stage and the start of the absorption stage. You are doing absorption at 14.4 so that is your Vabs while amps taper.
At some point the PD will drop to its 13.6 stage (whatever they call that- "normal?") which will be either at four hours of 14.4 or else earlier if the batts reach approx. 97% SOC earlier. Ay least Fisherguy's did
I don't know how the different voltages per SOC between AGMs and Wets would affect things in detail, but they do follow the same sort of pattern.
