My last 28’ MH on a Ford F450 chassis had these upgrades:
Bilstein 4500 series shocks
Bilstein steering damper
Firestone front airbags in the front springs
Steering box adjustment for tighter response
Proper front wheel alignment for the weight of the unit
Tireman brass extenders on each wheel to easily keep tire pressure at the proper psi
With all of this, the 28’ MH handled very well.
The next step would have been a Roadmaster rear sway bar, but I ended up trading the unit in for my current fifth wheel.
