Upgrading the stereo system
I have a vintage 1998 stereo in my TT. (I am guessing that is because it is also that old.) I am looking for a new stereo that: runs off 12v has excellent radio reception is compatible with iPod...

I replaced the garbage that came with my trailer with a JVC DIN mount unit, that included a front and rear aux port, as well as USB and bluetooth. It also has an HD tuner. Then I added a "real" antenna to the roof of the trailer, as mine previously just had a wire laying in the rafters. Reception is excellent.
I converted and routed my TV digital audio to the rear aux port. Added a self powered subwoofer (under the couch), and an amplifier for the speakers I also added.
My little system rocks and is great for movies too.
