OP started with having 2 12 volt deep cycle batteries.
What are they? 2 group 24 marine/deep cycles?
Not true deep cycle batteries and only about 170 amps total when new.
If that is the case, simply changing to two 6 volt 225 amp/hr batteries (GC-2) in series will give you much more bang for the buck.
And do so at a fraction of the cost of the 100 amphr Lithium.
