US Battery "finishing" charge recommendation

I'm not sure why anybody who places themselves firmly in the set it and forget it and don't worry about it crowd, would feel the need to chime in with their motto on a technical thread.

I surely didn't start this thread to get your opinions RJ, we all know what they are.

I'd much rather ask opinions of a few select members on this board who are also interested, and have the knowledge, to contribute something worthwhile to the overall knowledge and experiences of charging lead acid batteries in varying uses.

Thankfully, many of them have contributed.
