You need a routine and, unfortunately, it's going to take some tinkering until you get it dialed in. I finally figured out one for myself and now I don't do hardly any battery maintenance. I just check amps/volts occasionally to make sure the converter is still working. I haven't messed with the batts since I found that loose wire. The Iota does perform a nice function and it's the occasional 14.7V stirring. Tall batts like mine need that to keep from stratifying. You guys don't really need that. I would set bulk/absorb at 14.8 or .9V. Check SG at the end of the week. If it's like 97%-ish, perform a monthly equalize. IMO, the continuous charging from solar seems to keep the sulfation at bay but not away permanently. This will be your camping settings BTW.
