US2200 vs T-105

So I got some quotes today for 2 different golf cart batteries.

US2200 - $95.50 each
T105 - $105.50 each

I've never heard of US2200. Am wondering if it's worth saving $10/battery to go with them or the T105's would be very much worth the difference in price?

Brian - read up on the US BATTERY verses TROJAN look-alikes on-line.... They have some good reviews...

Would be nice to know someone that actually has used those brands... I always like to look at how long they will produce 25AMPS...

I have some older Interstate U2200 battery's in my RV. I am going to get Trojan battery's when I replace my battery's more than likely the AGM Trojans.
I have had good luck with the Interstate Battery's nut they are no longer made in the USA, They are now made in China,(or so I have been told, not sure) the Trojans are made in America.

  • US Battery makes a lot of batteries for industrial equipment. They're good batteries and like the Trojans are US manufactured. If you have a little extra head room in your battery compartment you might be able to fit something like the US250HX XC2 in and get a bit more amp hrs, useful if you dry camp.

This is a spec sheet for the US2200 XC2... Looks like it is a 232AH and battery weighs 62lbs...

    US2200

T105 Specs 225AH with same battery weight of 62LBS. Someone is fibbing a tad...

I too would pay the xtra and go for the Trojan T105s... We all know those are great batteries...

I might be interested in your battery sources too for this upcoming season...

  • I believe the 2200 are the interstate, mine were still performing good after 8 years, and they never saw charging voltage over 14.4.
