I've inquired several times to buy the battery from wrecked EV around here. #1 not many EV up here in winter wonderland. #2 standing orders from companies in California for all lithium chemistry battery packs.
Such a strong market in recovering the cells and reselling them, the local guys seem to get paid pretty good to just load the wreck on a flatbed and send it West.
