FWIW, Michelle is my cousin! :B Actually, they're using an entire Leaf "Lizard" (> 2013) battery plus one extra module, to make the numbers work out right. I want to build one about 1/5 that size but the spare cash just isn't available right now.
They started this project looking for a "fixer-upper" and ended up with a "gut 'n rebuild". They're likely a year behind their scheduled full-time adventure timetable.
