Using an alternator to feed your house batteries?

I know I'm missing something since this seems too easy, but if I have a motorhome, and install a second alternator via a third party bracket (namely a 360 amp one), I can feed that alternator's output...

360 amps ?? I guess I've heard a more ridiculous idea,...but don't know where.
Where you going to put 360 amps ?? Unless you have 12 or 14 1/2 dead batteries, there ain't no place for 360 amps to go, and if no place to go, it will NEVER see anything over 90 amps on even 3 1/2 dead batteries. Maybe get some knowledge on the subject, then see how ridiculous the idea really is.
