using trickle solar charger with 6v in series

I cannot believe you "solar longtimers" are even questioning if its watts or amps !! Any common sense tells a person that a 1 1/2 amp panel would be 1/4 the size of a 6 amp 100 watt panel, namely about 22" x 24" Tell me, does that look like 22 x 24 inches ?? I've had one similar to it for 20 yrs, seems like it was 2 watts.
It says 1 1/2 watts, believe it. It is absolutely worthless, except for charging a lap top ?? But I even doubt that.

1.5 amps, 1.5 watts.. no matter. It's still too small.

This would be true if the jars were 12 volts in parallel. However, they are 6 volt in series, so each cell will receive a theoretically equal charge. If we split hairs, then like as not one cell will lag behind, which is why, from time to time the bank should be equalized.

If you follow the op's link it is a 1.5 watt panel, not 1.5 amps.

The pair of GC2 need about double the single boat battery.

That is a 1.5 WATT panel, useless junk. There 15 watt panel at 69.95 would work. I had one on my old motor home and it kept the two 12 volt batteries topped off between trips. I didnt bother using a controller. The panel died at the fourish year mark. Harbor freights solar stuff is over priced (Incert your colorfull euphemism here).

I have two GC2's in series and when I arrive at the storage yard my batteries are fully charged and the Wizard is blinking very slowly. I connect my 15 watt Battery Minder charger and disconnect the batteries. The Deltran charger and my 1 hour generator exercising keep my batteries charged just fine while the RV is in storage.
