Traceability means instead of paying .20 foot for 14 gauge mi-spec wire, you would be paying a dollar a foot. This would be intelligent? But you would have the facts handy where the copper ore was mined and what the injection molder on that shift had for breakfast.
Kynar shielded twin wire is not a product of Wingding China. I really like their locomotive wire. If you want garbage grade wire go to AutoZone. Even NAPA's Belden wire is SAE not AWG. i love the parts store wire where looking at it from the end, the conductor is way way way off center. Skin thick on one side and heavy on the other.
I am going to buy wire from this company and smirk. Mil-Spec wire, documented or not, is serious stuff. Locomotive wire is some of themost durable on the planet. Ideal for running under chassis.
