Volt Meter
I'm far from an expert on battery banks but would like to find some sort of volt meter to mount in the wall to keep track of my batteries. Something simple with a momentary switch so it's not a draw. ...

I used to think the same thing, till I got "GOOD"
Just from my elcheapo volt meters, I know the exact SOC of my batts.
Once you learn/know your system, you can do a lot w/ just a volt meter,.....even an inaccurate one, as long as it is consistent.
But that doesn't mean I don't have ammeters in several places.
All my metrers are LED, and are lit ALL the time. They don't use enuff juice to even think about !
