I'm still absorbing what others have written regarding the difference between controllers.
I want to address the current draw while using an inverter on an RV. Some say the microwave will pull a 170 amps. Are you using a 12-volt microwave? Ohm's law does not make sense in this situation. Let's take a 1000 watt microwave oven using 120 volts it's only going to pull less than 10 amps. So how are we coming up with a 170 amp draw?
