Voltage vs. PWM controller & wire size
Ok, there is a recent thread out there MPPT vs. PWM and some post were a little confusing to me. Instead of hijacking his thread I started a new one. My set up is two 208 watt Sony panels with 28....

CA Traveler, with 30A PWM he will only be able to use 3 out of those 8 panels. 4*7.25A would bring it too close to the limit.
3 panels will get him 21A under perfect conditions. If he is happy with this, then no problem.
Covering the entire roof with panels, hoping to use them all at some time later when a proper controller will be added - have never seen this before, but why not... Will be a little cooler under all those panels...
