Voyager AWM930/AWM93W radio comes on randomly ??

I have a Voyager AWM930/AWM93W radio in my TT. For some unknown reason it comes on randomly. Some time at night. . :M, . . some time in the day. I have put a black tape over the remote sensor ...

If you are positive it has no weather alert, then this does happen sometimes. The only sure fix is to install a On/Off switch and mount next to the cabinet by the radio. Doug
