MEX.. I can not give you the link but in researching batteries a year or two ago I came across a set of instructions for AGM batteries.
And it clearly showed the purchaser (or the seller) adding the liquid electrolyte to the battery and sealing the cell either at the point of sale or before installation, NOT at the factory.
So,,,, That argues against what you posted.
By the way, Any Maintenance free is VLRA.
VLRA includes any battery without a removable cap.
They are also sometimes called "Sealed Valve Regulated Lead Acid" or some re-arrangement of those words as well.
