want to add second A/C unit
I have a 2012 Sandpiper 365SAQ, it has only one A/C unit and needs a second. lol. Is there a designated area marked on roof for A/C unit? Do I need a low profile or regular unit?

We picked up a 2018 Rockwood Ultralite last fall and were told it was pre-wired for a second AC It is a 2650WS. Does anyone know if they run ducts to connect to the second unit? Also do they pre-wire to link to the two zone thermostat on the wall or just the power? I don't want to pull the existing vent out only to find I need more parts.
I don't know about your model, but typically, the second AC, in the bedroom, does not connect to your existing duct system (meaning that when it is on it would blow air to the front area through the ducts). The bedroom units have vents on the bottom and sides so that you can open, close, or direct them any direction. They are meant to basically cool that end of your RV. I find that when we had ours installed, it helped to cool the front (bedroom) of the FW tremendously, but it's noisier than the one in the living room. Just a side note, we added extra insulation to the front of our FW and since then, it stays cooler longer and the one AC on in the main living cools the entire unit.

I do have a 50 amp unit. It is wired for second unit in master BR but not installed. I am assuming the unit would mount in the vent opening in master BR.
