I have a 2012 Sandpiper 365SAQ, it has only one A/C unit and needs a second. lol. Is there a designated area marked on roof for A/C unit? Do I need a low profile or regular unit?
If you have 50A, check in your breaker panel for a breaker marked "Second AC". That will tell you for sure if your wired for it.
There's also a structural aspect. Some RV's, like Northwood products, don't have sufficient structure in the roof for a second AC unless it was optioned that way from the factory.
