Wanted, Wired Remote Controlled 120v light Switch

I'm looking for a 120v single pole switch....or should I call it a relay, that will replace s simple wall switch in my shop. I need to operate it from inside house 100 feet away. Wireless would be nice, but I can't find a one that has a decent review for being dependable at 100 ft distance or in cold temps.
I would much prefer a wired relay that will operate (at low voltage) thru 100 ft of doorbell or speaker wire. If any elec tech could steer me to something like this, I'd appreciate it much.

    I think what I need is a 120v relay, w/ a 12v coil. I find them w/ a 120v coil, but that would require 100 ft of 14 ga romex ??

    Or possibly a 24v operated, 120v relay ?
    Nearest genuine electric shop is 70 miles away.
    I just don't find anything on sites mentioned.

    Smarthome is a good starting place, the X10 system is what I use (note there can be RFI issues, some fluorescent bulbs cause issues). Other then that it's roll your own.

    A SPST relay, switch, bell-wire, transformer, etc

    Did you try ythtee DIY stores like. Menards, Lowe's, Home Depot? They may have just what you need.
