Water heater anode torque: wrench doesn't go that low?

Never crossed my mind either. I never even heard of anybody that did use a torque wrench on a anode rod/water heater plug. It's just not that critical.

But I could understand the O.P. trying to do what is right by the book, if that's what they want.
