If you have an Atwood water heater..the 'fault' light will also come on IF the ECO (high temp t-stat) has opened when using the electric element
The 'fault' light will come on using LP if: fails to light or ECO opens
The ECO opening means temps have exceed normal t-stat set point (140*F) and have reached ECO set point (180*F). Normal t-stat is faulty OR not held tight against tank wall.
