Water Heater Flush?
Has anyone flushed their water heater with vinegar or other similar non-toxic solution to de-scale and de-lime the interior? Is it recommended and did it work? What did you use and how did you apply...

I used the standard water flush tool from Walmart. I got some sand and debris from bottom. Did not see any scaling.
It only takes a few minutes during winterizing. I do it during winterizing so if any debris is present it should be soft and wash out easier. If I wait until spring it could have hardened over the winter.
