Water heater switch
Is the outside switch on the water heater only for the propane ignition, or does it control the electric as well? I have inside switches for each of these.

The outside switch is ONLY for 120. It is usually a winterizing switch. Turn it OFF when you drain the W/H to prevent dry firing when it is empty. If you have an inside switch, the outside switch must be ON for the inside switch to work. Doug
Doug, on my new trailer, I only have 1 inside switch for propane, and I have the outside switch inside the heater's cover for 120v. The switch is kind of hidden and not easily seen.
