Doug, on my new trailer, I only have 1 inside switch for propane, and I have the outside switch inside the heater's cover for 120v. The switch is kind of hidden and not easily seen.
if that's an atwood 6 gallon wh I would appreciate a road map to it.

It is a 6 gal Atwood, I had to look in the manual to find it. It's buried behind some wires as I recall. You can't actually open the cover and just see it. It's a black rocker switch. Odd that they put it where they do and not on the panel inside.
