water heater trouble shooting- HELP-update

Have a 2012 5ver. Has Atwood gas/elect water heater. Yesterday everything was fine today nothing. We are on the road, using elect side only. When I turn the switch on, after a few seconds the DSI Fault light comes on. I thought that only pertained to the gas side. Breakers good. What am I missing? Ideas? Help!!!

    running on shore power & city water. Just tried draining the tank and refilling. No changes. DSI light comes on, from either switch.
