It could be something as simple as running a bit of sand paper over the little pipe tip (thing) where the gas come out of the hole and the flame starts (whatever that thing is called). Similar thing happened in our stick-house we lived in a few years ago. Turned out that little hole was gunked over. A simple little brush with sand paper and it worked fine, never a problem again.
We did have a similar problem with our refrigerator in our prior camper once. I did the same thing, and it worked fine, never a problem again.
It's such a simple thing to try first. Give it a shot and see what happens. Start simple, then get more complex. If if the electronics, at least eliminate all the minor "possibilities" first.
